First things first y’all! Today is Tuesday August 7, 2018 and it means that I have been sober for one month and twenty days or for a total of fifty days. As a matter of fact, since I’m a weekend binge drinker, I am celebrating my seventh sober weekend. WooHoo! As always, I feel like Tony the fucking tiger… GRRRRREAT! No anxiety, no depression, no hangover, no regrets… I mean nothing! I just hope that wherever you are in this crazy planet of ours, you are having a good morning, good afternoon, good evening or good night. Always try to enjoy it to the fullest and don’t let nobody fuck it up for you no matter what happens.
On a book reading note! As I most likely mentioned last month, ever since I found a book at home, which I didn’t know who it belonged to, back when I was around eleven or twelve years old, I have loved reading. But the truth of the matter is, that when I drink, I tend to stay away from it. But the thing is, that lately, for some weird reason, I have been interested in autobiographies and memoirs. The thing is, that I like to read about people who started with nothing and built something. Just yesterday, I started reading “Built from Scratch: How a Couple of Regular Guys Grew The Home Depot from Nothing to $30 Billion”, by Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank, the founders of The Home Depot. As always my loyal 1.5 readers, you have nothing to fear, because I won’t be reviewing the book here, on this crazy and boring blog of mine. I just enjoy good and interesting books to read on my down time.
With that said! I am Audi 5000 y’all!
