What up! What up! What up kids! Today is Sunday September 2, 2018 and it means that I have been sober for two months and fifteen days or rather yet, seventy-six days in total. As always, I feel like Tony the tiger… GRRRRREAT!

On a Saturday partying night note! Last night my wife and I went to her cousin’s wedding reception in The Bronx. Aside from me having an on and off headache and toothache, I really had a good time, since I took a painkiller and an antibiotic before going there. As always, people were drinking all around me and the best part of it all was, drum roll please! They had an open bar! Yes, a big fat open bar with all types of beers and hard liquor, that I couldn’t touch for shit!… Don’t worry, I’m just fucking with you, I had about three people offer me alcohol when we got there, but I just told them that I would be drinking later on and they left me alone the whole night. My wife did get a little nervous when I had them pour champagne in my glass for the toasting. I did explain to her, that I wasn’t planning on actually drinking it, that it was just for show. I really don’t blame her for acting and feeling that way when I’m around alcohol, since it’s only been two and a half months since my last weekend binge, so I can understand, that it is still fresh not only in her mind, but also my daughter’s, and that is the reason that they don’t want to see alcohol around me. Other than that, we really had an excellent time.

As for my loyal five to ten readers, I just hope that wherever you are in this crazy planet of ours, you are having a good morning, good afternoon, good evening or good night. Always try to enjoy it to the fullest and don’t let nothing or nobody fuck it up for you no matter what happens.

What up! What up! What up kids! Today is Sunday August 26, 2018 and it means that I have been sober for two months and seven days or rather yet, sixty-eight days i total. As always, I feel like Tony the fucking tiger… GRRRRREAT!

OK, so yesterday my wife and I spent the entire afternoon at a co-worker’s home in New Jersey, with his family, friends and also other co-workers. Just in case my loyal readers are asking… yes, there was a lot of drinking happening, they even offered me alcohol many times, but since I’m a good boy, I said no thank you, I am driving. My wife did have a Margarita and two Jello shots, which made her feel really good. Since I’m the one with the drinking problem, I was OK with her drinking. When we go out, I even try to encourage her to drink, since she’s not the one with the problem. Plus right now, I have been doing excellent around people who are drinking. I’m not going to lie, I had a few stinking thinking moments, but I really don’t miss drinking that much. As for today, my wife’s uncle is having a BBQ in the park across the street for his youngest son… YES! YES! YES!, you can bet your ass that there will be alcohol, but you can also bet your ass, that I won’t be drinking, just eating my favorite, BBQ meats.

As for my loyal five to ten readers, I just hope that wherever you are in this crazy planet of ours, you are having a good morning, good afternoon, good evening or good night. Always try to enjoy it to the fullest and don’t let nothing or nobody fuck it up for you no matter what happens.

First things first my peeps! Today is Sunday August 5, 2018 and it means that I have been sober for one month and eighteen days or rather yet, forty-eight days. As always, I feel like Tony the fucking tiger… GRRRRREAT! No anxiety, no depression, no hangover, no regrets… I mean nothing! I just hope that wherever you are in this crazy planet of ours, you are having a good morning, good afternoon, good evening or good night. Always try to enjoy it to the fullest and don’t let nobody fuck it up for you no matter what happens.

On a sober fun note! I have to say, that yesterday my wife and I had an amazing time with my co-workers and their families. As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, my wife and I traveled to one of my co-worker’s home located in AllentownPennsylvania. We spent the entire afternoon just talking, laughing, eating and drinking… yes, drinking. But don’t worry, I didn’t have any alcohol. As a matter of fact, I’m still getting used to having some sober fun, while others drink in front of me. To be honest with you, it is getting better and easier. I’ve been able to hangout with people who are drinking and I’m not feeling any urges to drink or even feeling angry, because I can’t drink. It’s like the longer I’m sober, the less that I think about alcohol. Plus it really helps, that I’m taking one day every weekend, to spend it outside of the apartment. I guess that what I am trying to say is, that the more I stay home doing nothing, the more time I have to think about alcohol. Which is not a good thing. Another co-worker of mine at the get together, invited all of us to his home in New Jersey on August twenty-fifth. So my wife and I are setting that day aside for more fun.

First things first y’all! Today is Sunday July 29, 2018 and it means that I have been sober for one month and eleven days or rather yet, forty-one days.

On a getting out of the apartment on the weekends note! Since we needed a couple of parts for our car and the mechanic suggested that we get it from a junk yard because they would be cheaper than buying it brand new, my wife, two of her uncles, a friend of ours and I, drove to Allentown, Pennsylvania to a place called Harry’s U-Pull It to find them. I have to admit, it took us around two hours both ways, but my wife’s uncle and I split the driving duties. I really don’t know how to emphasize this, but if you are having a hard time with your mental health, I suggest that you get the fuck out of your home and do something. Even if you don’t want to do it, you have to push yourself. Trust me, most of the times, I don’t want to go out, but once I get moving, I really feel good about myself and my accomplishment. Just get off of your ass and do something for a change.

What up! What up! What up y’all! Today is Sunday July 22, 2018 and it means that I have been sober for one month and four days or rather yet, thirty-four days.

On a dinner with my wife note! Well, as I said before, that I will try to go out and do something different every weekend to get out of the apartment, yesterday I decided to go out with my wife for dinner. Don’t get me wrong, we do this very often. Since our two kids are adults now and they have their own thing going on in their lives and with their friends, my wife and I just love to have a quiet dinner among ourselves. We drove to this place that my wife loves called International Buffet, in New Jersey. It’s an all you can eat buffet, but since a couple of years ago I had stomach surgery to lose weight, I can’t eat a lot, so I had my food to take home. I have to tell you, I really had a lot of fun and like always, I really enjoyed the time alone with her, because we get to catch up on a lot of things. Plus there was a big smile on my wife’s face. You see, anytime that she’s happy, I’m happy.

Always try to enjoy it to the fullest and don’t let nobody fuck it up for you no matter what happens.

On a having fun note! Even though I hate going to parties on Sundays, yesterday I had to attend my co-worker’s and good friend’s wedding. In other words, there are exceptions to my rule. The thing is, that my wife and I really had a lot of fun, since we were siting at the same table with many of my co-workers. Even though my wife and I didn’t drink any alcohol, we still had a lot of fun and we laughed a lot. We did get home late and I still have to go to the salt mines today, but it was all worth it. It’s funny, because my wife was already talking to me about going to Madame Tussauds New York next Sunday. I have to say, that I love her to death, not only because we have been together for thirty years, but because we love, understand and support each other. May we be together for thirty more years.

What up! What up! What up my peeps! Today is Monday July 9, 2018 and it marks my 21st sober day and as always, I feel like Tony the fucking tiger… GRRRRREAT!

On a day trip note! Since I decided to try to visit a new place every Sunday, yesterday I decided to visit The New York Transit Museum in Brooklyn, New York. I’ve been wanting to visit for so fucking long, that I can’t remember how long has it been. Well, to be honest with you, I really enjoyed it to the fullest. As soon as I saw the old train cars, I felt like a little kid in a toy store. It was incredible how I was able to sit in train cars, dating back to a hundred years or more. I have to say, that I took close to three hundred pictures, but only posted 100+. The most amazing thing was, that the train ride took me one hour each way, plus the whole thing only came up to fifteen dollars and fifty cents for the admission to the museum and my train ride both ways. As to where will I be next Sunday? At a co-worker’s wedding.
